The Story of Dirt Rich Co.

Dirt Rich Co. was born out of passion and determination. As a child, my mother would always say we were “rich with love” when either myself or my sister would inquire about our level of wealth. And as I got older, I often heard the phrase “dirt poor”, referring to persons who had very low economic or material wealth. These sayings stuck with me.

When it came time to start a business, those phrases churned in my head. I thought about what it really means to be rich. What it really means to be poor. I thought about nature, and how it always seems so abundant. How could one be poor when they have dirt? It provides so much. So I decided on Dirt Rich; to represent wealth in regards to love, possibility, and joy.

Now I carry that love and passion into everything I create by hand and make available to others. I can’t think of a better richness.
